Our Best Advice

Regularly back up your data, either manually on a local device, or subscribe to an online back-up service like CARBONITE, or BOTH.  The online back-up is safe and secure and works automatically–for only a couple of dollars a month.  This is worth ever penny if your data is critical.  (Irreplaceable photos, tax/accounting records, expensive music collections, PhD thesis/ self-published novels…)
